Faye is an author, executive leader, journalist and attorney with a passion for brand building and storytelling. For nearly a decade, she practiced law in competitive, fast-paced environments while building her own platform as a notable freelance writer, speaker, and author.
Faye founded and helmed, Weemagine, a website devoted to inspiring creativity in children, before leading acquisitions and engagement for Tax Analysts, a leading tax publication. During Faye’s tenure, the social media platforms increased by over 200%, video content received over 500% more views, and podcast downloads increased to almost a half a million downloads and secured multiple advertisers.
Faye also led mental health content and diverse and underrepresented audience strategies for RVO Health, a billion dollar publisher that owns Healthline.com, PsychCentral.com, Healthgrades, and other platforms that garner over 100 million monthly views. Faye led the rebrand, relaunch, and double-digit % YoY growth strategy for PsychCentral.com and efforts to increase audience for the entire portfolio of brands. Faye was honored on the Cynopsis Digital <It> List for innovation and leadership in digital media and was named an Aspen Ideas Fellow. Most recently, Faye was vice president and head of content for Well+Good and Livestrong.com where she owned the strategic vision for editorial strategies across all channels, led a large team of content leaders and creators, and managed a multimillion-dollar editorial budget.
Faye is the Founder and President of Rest and Reclaim Retreats, a company specializing in curated day retreats for women and professionals. Faye also works as a small business consultant for Goldman Sachs.
Faye is a notable speaker who draws on her years of experience as a health attorney and journalist to speak to issues such as mental health and wellness, maternal health, health equity, health care systems and disparities, and workplace mental health. Her notable public speaking engagements include appearances on various media outlets and podcasts, such as Good Day NY, NBC News Now, and Fox 5 DC, as well as conferences and events like SXWS, Reuters, ViVE, and Ad Week. Her bylines have been featured in Authority Magazine, Healthline, Psych Central, HuffPost, Parade, Well+Good, and AARP Magazine, among others. She holds a B.A. in English from Binghamton University, an M.A. in Writing from Johns Hopkins University, and a JD from Howard University School of Law. Most importantly, Faye is a married mother of three beautiful sons, and pet mom to a calico cat, and a Bernedoodle.
